BEAT HARD TIMES

These are challenging times. Deep uncertainties dominate the minds of many people. Every now and then, we all need to be reminded that there is a part of us that is greater than our circumstances. You can breakthrough challenging situations by partnering with the higher part of yourself.

Here are seven steps to transform challenging situations by collaborating with your Higher Self.

1. DECIDE: What do you really want? When do you want it by? Get clear about what you want and make the decision to have it. Put your decision down in writing.

2. ASK UP:  Make a formal request about your decision to a Higher Source in any way you know how to. Prayers, visualization, meditation, affirmations etc. are some of the ways to ask up. The universal law of asking to receive holds true all the time.

3. THINK GRATITUDE: Fill your mind with thoughts of gratitude for the blessings you currently enjoy. Regardless of your circumstance, you are still better off in some ways than a lot of people on the planet. Have an attitude of gratitude. Gratitude is the fastest way to connect to Higher Source.

4. BELIEVE: Realize and acknowledge that what you want is already available out there in the universe. Regardless of what it is that you want, chances are somebody already has it and your Higher Source knows the best way to get it.

5. TAKE ACTION: Draft a plan and take massive action towards your goal starting with what you already know how to do or something that you already have. Be totally committed to getting the results you want by taking only action steps that are congruent with the results you want. The universe will always match your level of commitment.

6. ASK SIDEWAYS: Ask for help from people especially if you hit road blocks. The universal creative energy prefers working through more than one person to manifest anything.

7. WATCH FOR OPPORTUNITIES: Keep an open mind and be receptive to ideas, inspiration and possibilities that could lead to your goal. Be persistent until you get the results that you want.

These steps are a basic template for translating wishes into things. The template works in any economy because the universe has only one market – the recession-proof Abundance market. Having a coach or someone to guide and hold you accountable helps to speed up this process dramatically. I would like to hear about your experience. So, please feel free to share your comments and experience below.

GO RECKLESS!

To be reckless is not looked upon favorably in our society. Recklessness has a negative connotation and, therefore, not expected to be used positively in the same sentence with terms like “success”, “business” and “prosperity”. But it pays to be a little reckless especially when it comes to taking chances and calculated risks.

Several studies have shown that the most successful people are daring and take calculated risks, while the most cautious ones are rarely successful. Of course, I’m not referring to total or unguarded recklessness, and certainly not the kind that has total disregard for healthy caution. Instead, I’m referring to taking calculated risks which the overly cautious person might consider to be reckless. The point is, every chance we take involves some degree of recklessness, and success in life and business always involves taking a leap of faith with a healthy dose of recklessness.

Faith is the power that enables us to be co-creators with God. Faith is the catalyst that allows us to escalate the results of our efforts. Faith makes the impossible possible when added to action. But exercising faith in our goals, dreams, businesses and personal lives may seem reckless to some people. That is why you must shield your dream from any source of discouragement.

In order to establish faith, you must first of all believe in your self and in your cause and then be willing to damn any consequences of failure. The lack of courage to face the consequences of possible failure, especially as it relates to the opinion of others, is the biggest stumbling block to people taking chances and taking action.

However, it takes some recklessness to induce courage. And it takes courage to persevere and believe without a doubt that you will succeed even when the odds are stacked against you. But that is the kind of faith that revs up universal engines of manifestation. That is the kind of faith that makes the difference between a successful person and a failure. And that is definitely the kind of faith it takes to move mountains.

So, what have you been hesitating to act on? What are you afraid would happen if you did what you‘ve been procrastinating about? Give yourself permission to get a little reckless. Take a chance! Don’t be bashful, and don’t be shy. Just have the courage to act according to your inner urge. On the other side of your “recklessness” is your dream manifested. You will win if you don’t quit. Go all out, and go brave on your desires!

“The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing, and becomes nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn and feel and change and grow and love and live” ~Leo Buscaglia

PREPARE FOR YOUR BREAKTHROUGH

A fundamental requirement for achieving breakthrough in any area of life is preparation. The universe is ever ready to bring into form whatever thoughts that have been sent to it as long as we are prepared for the experience in all four realms of our existence.

Breakthrough will not happen until one is ready for its impact, and this spiritual requirement is a major stumbling block that hinders people from achieving financial or other breakthroughs in a significant way. We must learn to be mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically prepared for whatever outcome we desire. Read the rest of this entry »

PROTECT YOUR DREAM

An easily overlooked reason why people don’t achieve their dreams is that they fail to protect them. Metaphorically, the moment you visualize your desire with clarity and intense emotion you give birth to it on the spiritual plane. Therefore, every desire or dream usually comes in as a baby, and in subtle way,  with the kind of excitement and hopes that accompany the birth of a human baby.

YOU HAVE THE POWER

“We can let circumstances rule us, or we can take charge and rule our lives from within”
-Earl Nightingale

The average person uses the words “fact” and “truth” interchangeably. Perhaps we should learn to distinguish in our thoughts the difference between facts and the truth of our circumstances like most successful people instinctively do.
